TIME OUT? Holy Smackers!

Mind = Officially Blown

Yep, exciting stuff below. But first, there are sooo many things happening all at once in prepping for FIRST HAND WOMAN’s debut at FringeNYC, that it’s extremely challenging to even find time to breathe. The other day, I forced myself to take a Time Out (hint hint) and walked away from the computer for a couple hours, because my eyes had actually started wigging out (make sure you read to the bottom, because I have a “Time Out” dare for you).

So I went for a stroll, visited a park and watched the sunset. Yep, it was as simple as that. I felt recharged and glad to give my eyes something other than my computer screen to look at.

And here is where I do a happy dance:

Speaking of “TIME OUT”, check this bad boy out:

That’s right… Yayyyy!!! FIRST HAND WOMAN had a lil spotlight, kind of like a shout-out, in the incredible TIME OUT Magazine!

Yep that’s us! Wowowow! Thank you soooo much Pennant Media Group, FringeNYC, Ron Lasko and Time Out!!! This is so lovely to see.  🙂

And now without further Ado, in honour of this wonderful magazine spotlight, I hereby dare you to give yourself a proper Time Out this week. At least three hours of unadulterated fun. No work or stress allowed.

Use this time to do something that you absolutely love and that is not work-related. Joy for the sake of joy.

And I’m not talking about distracting yourself. So watching TV, playing video games and surfing the net do not count. I double-dog-dare you to do something that really makes you laugh, smile, sigh and engage. Stuck for ideas, hey check out Time Out Magazine for inspiration.

Now in the comments below, I want you to tell me what your “Time Out” will be. Can’t wait to hear about the delightful things you’ll be rockin’!

Stay tuned as tickets go on sale July 19.

And as always…

Dream up,

Sarah Michelle Brown

FIRST HAND WOMAN Actor, Playwright + Producer

FIRST HAND WOMAN is one woman’s powerful story, told through five different parts of herself. These parts are the boisterous and unapologetic stages of loss. So the characters onstage are Denial, Bargaining, Anger, Depression and Acceptance. This is an exhilarating ride through the stages of loss and into redemption!
